Mature
Losing someone is always hard, losing your grandmother who raised you, is even harder. Then you add in dealing with a stalker who just won't leave you alone, and life is pretty stressful. When Emiline discovers that her late grandmother left her a cabin in the remote town of Blackmoore, tucked away in the woods of Oregon, she decides it's the perfect place to get away from everything.
If getting away means dealing with the strange town's people that keep asking her weird questions, living in a creaky cabin with an attic that won't open, and being watched carefully by the uptight, and bossy town Sheriff Trent Blackmoore, she will take it.
But even stranger are the unusual dreams she keeps having, the sound of wolves howling at midnight each night, and the gruesome presents that are being left in front of her door. All of which are starting to make Emiline rethink about her stay in Blackmoore.
When her life changes in ways she never thought possible, she realizes that coming to Blackmoore was not a choice, but the fulfillment of her destiny.

He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past.
