Cassie has been home schooled since her father lost his job. They had to constantly move around to where ever he could get a job, so Cassie ended up being home schooled by her mother. Cassie dreams of attending the most famous Arts Academy in the country, the Starlight Arts Academy. Her father lands a permanent job working in a factory only a few hours away from the Academy but when illness hits their family and money slowly slips away dreams can be harder to believe in.
