It speaks of love of blackness
And shies from thoughts of light

Read it when you’re ready
To delve in deepest shade
Exploring not the brightness
But things of gloom and fade

Some lines may be metaphor
Prefer mystery to starkness
While others may be literal
My love notes to the darkness
