Jenna Clifford is 17 turning 18 in September, this year is her 8th year going on being depressed. She has been bullied for most of her schooling and over the years has slowly become anorexic, she has reverted to self harm and suicide. Her mother, father and brother all think she needs to get help before she goes into her next chapter of adulthood. They send her to therapy, even though Jenna doesn't want to go. She goes to her first session and catches the attention of Calum Hood the suicidal, depressed boy. Will he help her get better or worse?
