Ruby Jane (Emma Watson) and Glen Parker Hamson (Ryan Guzman) are sister and brother. People are shocked when they hear this and most won't even believe it. She's quiet but sweet. He's a bad-boy but maybe he has a good heart. Ruby is a very quiet and innocent girl, I'm sure you know people like to take advantage of such ladies. Glen is into fighting, drinking and smoking pot. Both in high school, they deal with all the usual drama and relationships, oh, and the fact that they both have powers. People have no idea really how different they are.
