One day when Cray, her best friend, jumped along for the ride of hunting for Violet's family, the stone hurts her leg, burning flesh in the process. What was happening?
Her life changed when her birthday approached. Hidden lies of her past were opened, and fire engulfed her like a dying flame. The last thing she sees is the light of day of her village in flames. Hope was not lost though, as the last thing she hears is a cracking sound of the ruby stone in her hand.
