*in progress story* novice writer -- not even 🤓

Alicai Bone. Charming. Wise. Enigmatic. He is always one step ahead, but he was not aware of what was coming his way, more like *who* was coming. All he knew was that he had to have her. Even if it meant revealing the secrets that keep him alive.

Devyn Blood is an ordinary girl living in her ordinary world. At least that's what she thought. All was going well: homecoming, her birthday, maybe even her new love life. But after her parents'  so called "accident", she hasn't been open to anyone, until he came along. He has the answers to her questions, and the looks. But will she be able to handle this unexpected relationship, or let the truth get the best of her?
