17 year old Ember is left behind by her family at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. She survived on her own for months, thinking she was the only one left who wasn't rotting and an overwhelming urge to eat human flesh. She accidentally found a community of other teens living in an abandoned warehouse. She has to learn who to trust and where she can fit in.
