Whether things were meant to be or not, one thing is clear: in the bigger picture, things always fall into place and for a reason.

So when Eon Hope Moore's childhood friend Joshua moves away to another town, the twins--Will and Ian--and their mother move in to his house and she can't stop feeling that something inside her is changing too. Always alone due to her parents' absence and only in the company of her dog, she has lived through traumatic experiences and has always liked constancy, for things not to change. And this little change has certainly not made her happy.
