My name is Gale and I'm fifteen and a half years old. I've livd in an orphanage or five years and I DO NOT like it. So,after some INTERESTING recent events, I decided to run away with some friends. Unfortunatly,things have only been getting worse.
Visions,dreams,and flat out weird things and they all seem to fit in to each other like a puzzle. A very unnerving puzzle that I can't seem to find pieces of without tragedy...

The Human Experiment (bxbxb)
My name is Rolland and I grew up in an orphanage in the middle of town. I've lived here as long as I can remember. I always tried to ask why me or any of the other kids were here but the woman who ran the orphanage just answered by holding up a sign saying 'I'm busy. Go play, Rolland.' After my eighth birthday I stopped asking. Besides, I think I already knew why my parents hadn't wanted me... I was completely deaf. (This will NOT be a super perverted book, even being bxbxb. The Best Kept Secret!
They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
