7 year old Aubrey's life is tough her mom was murdered by her dad, her dad got hit by a truck trying to flee the murder scene. Her brother left her and her sister because he couldn't deal with the drama of their family. Aubrey gets thrown around from foster home to foster home waiting for her sister to be old enough to be her legal guardian. 10 years later the day before Aubrey is going to move from America to England to live with her sister, Louis saves her from being practically killed by two guys. Louis is shocked with how much he cares for this girl and tries to work his way into her heart, but Aubrey is convinced that after her parents deaths and the constant bullying and her recurring depression she can't love or trust anyone anymore. Will Louis change this? Will he work his way into her heart? Or will he break Aubrey's heart?
