Imagine if your world had suddenly changed just from meeting a special someone. To a young, energetic, kind-hearted girl, Delilah believed her days were to be spent trying to earn enough money just to survive in the hustling bustling city of New York. Never once did she believe that anyone would notice her presence wherever she went, let alone anyone ever holding feelings towards here. Twilight? anyone?) so i took into my able hands the job of: a. making Uri a better ML overall, he's nicer and more gentle which is what i strive for with my male characters in general. b. i gave a personality to Delilah. in the beginning, she was simply a face for my demons and mental issues, but when i decided to make this into a real novel, i had to face the fact that she was just.... flat-out boring and unrealistically blank (and selfish too... made me rethink my own views haha...). so hopefully this helps the book go smoother and everything. enjoy!
