Do you see so much fear and hatred in the darkness of a thundercloud that you can’t see the spring flowers grow?
Do you not know your God enough to know that your God will not be defeated.
My friend if you see only death and destruction written on the wall and not dwell on the endless possibilities you must truly be blind.
The Spiritual and the secular are all here in this collection of my person poetry.
I would like to find a writing group in Michigan if you know of one let me know.
It is my hope to get some of this set to music either gospel or Country music. If you are interested in my work let me know.

WHEN THE RAIN FORGOT TO FALL
I wrote this because I needed to survive it. Because there are some feelings too big for silence. Some heartbreaks too heavy to carry alone. This isn't fiction. This is my heart, broken open and rearranged into verse. "I saw you standing where the sidewalk curves, and suddenly my chest knew different words." - That's how it started. A glance. A stranger. A feeling I couldn't ignore. "You said we needed to talk. Those five words, I knew. I already knew." - And that's how it ended. Not with fire. With silence. I won't tell you that time heals all wounds. I won't say everything happens for a reason. I won't pretend heartbreak makes you stronger. But I will show you that: You can survive what you think will destroy you. You can break and still become beautiful. You can love someone and lose them and still be whole. You can be your own happy ending. I wrote these poems with tears on my face. I wrote them on good days when I forgot to hurt. Every word is something I actually felt. Every line is a moment I actually lived. "You are not broken. You are breaking open. And that's where the light gets in." - That's what this taught me. Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Death and Life
Blood! So much blood! Too much blood! Too much! And in my heart of hearts I knew: there was no way for him to come back from this. Bud I didn't want to acknowledge it. Not yet. Just a few moments ago I had been sitting at the computer working on some book, with the soft sound of a YouTube video in the background. Everything had been so peaceful. Hopeful, even. But not anymore. A sudden thunder booming through our living room announced the unreversible end of the summer. And that of a precious life. My husband's. But still there is hope and life. Somewhere. Pain Reconciled by Love
This book is published on amazon.com. I put it on here for Wattpadders to read for free! Have you ever felt so much emotional pain that you just wanted to end it all? Have you ever felt so much physical pain that you thought death was nearer than you had hoped for? Maybe you have felt one, but not both, or maybe you have felt both. These poems were written for those who have felt pain like no other. You may be your own worst enemy, but you are also your own best friend. Sometimes, no one is there to help you get up off that floor, so it is up to you to help your own self. Once you find that you can take care of yourself, you can take care of and love others. Humans need love to survive. If we didn't have love, we'd all be robots and simply not human. The love doesn't have to be from a significant other. Maybe it's from a best friend or close family member? Just know that we are all in this game of life together. So, let's live it with love. I had entered the deepest depths of pain and agony. I had given up on my life. I tried to end my life, and I would have been successful. Three people saved me that day, at the end of 2017. First, was myself. I had to come to terms with who I was and turn it all back around. I had to lean on my Creator, who was my second life saver. Jesus came to my aid and saved my life after I tried to take it. The third person who saved me was my husband. Before we met I would have died, but he needed me just like I needed him. I am alive for him, for my two sons, for myself, and for my Heavenly Father. "I couldn't make it stop, Until I met my rock. So, here are my words of wisdom, "Pain reconciled by love" is my rhythm." There is hope. There is a purpose to this life. Pain Reconciled by Love is full of heartache, but also full of beauty. I'm still alive because there is something for me out there. I hope this is the beginning to something beautiful. Heaven On Earth
It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. Visions, testimonies, miracles and more came knocking at my door leading me into a dose of Heaven on Earth. Blue Roses for My Bride series: Book 1 NOTE I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. I learn as I go where writing a book is concerned. So the book has a lot of flaws, typos and words may not be in the correct order. It may be a finished book but there is still lots of work to do on it. Paint Us Gray: Part 1
Rejection. Betrayal. Heartbreak. Grief. Unfortunately, we've all had a swallow, some more than others, of this bitter brew. This is just a sliver of my chapter that is a part of this world's grand narrative; it's about one person's toe dipping into the brokenness of the Earth, and the ripples, waves, tsunamis it created in her life. A couple of months ago, while consoling a friend grieving the loss of a relationship, he asked me a question no one had ever asked me before. A very vulnerable and powerful question. I had been sharing some of my own similar experiences with him when he messaged me that life changing question, "And, what did you see at the top of the mountain?" While his words were just letters on a screen, I could see the hunger in his eyes, hear the desperation in his voice, sense the overwhelming thirst of a person climbing up an incredibly steep and treacherous mountain.
