Megan isn't sure what sort of nightmare she enters when a couple of wolf-like monsters abduct her one summer day and take her to a classified facility to become submitted to a series of experiments. All she knows is that the kids trapped in dog crates beside her look startling familiar.
Then one evening Jeb Batchelder comes to their rescue, taking them to a house in the mountains. While he emerges them into their forgotten past, Megan realizes that she a life like no other...
And a few unfinished projects to complete.
With her old family beside her, and a pair of wings on her back, Megan (Max) dives back into a world needing her saving.
