Madison H. Jones used to know Matthew. Knowing him, in her eyes, almost made up for never getting to know her family.

But now she hasn't seen him in seven years, and her grandparents are dead. As her life starts taking unexpected turns, she turns to the man who was once her best friend, and hopes that he responds as she navigates through the family she never had, some of whom are in it for the money.

(I know it's a terrible description. This story's extremely unedited, and pretty PG as far as language goes. The events, however, aren't always lighthearted. I'm very open to suggestions, tips, and any feedback you could give me to make my writing better.)
