A coming-of-age Journey. :) This is a story about Sonéa, a girl who is learning to be brave and overcome life's challenges. It is my first book. I'm writing it in a sort-of therapeutic way: taking bits and pieces from my own life, and adding a sprinkle of inspiration from my favorite books/authors.
I love reading historical fantasy. Some of my favorites (from which I am drawing inspiration): Summers at Castle Autumn, Wildwood Dancing, The Hedgewitch Queen, Song of the Lioness, Twilight Child, Redeeming Love, Wolfskin, and Cry of the Icemark.
Authors such as Tamora Pierce, Juliette Mariller, Francine Rivers, Sue Limb, and Trudy Canavan have inspired me, and that probably carries into my writing style.
