I was going to work in the city.
I wasn't going to be like my Mama or Papa or Grandpa or anyone.
I wasn't going to be a farmer.
My future was in the big city.


A man in a suit took me away from my family.
Which made me sad.
But I was about to start my new life in the city.
Me, Faith and 12 others.

When we arrived in the city we were shoved in to small cells.
In the corner of my cell there was a lonely untouched cloth.
It was freezing and I was all alone.

I was scared.


When the morning eventually came, a large muscly man and the man in the suit who brought us here, came in.
He handed over some money and entered the cell opposite me.

A small terrified whimper came from the cell.
Followed by a deafening scream.

More men loaded into the room and paid the man. 
After a while a large man entered my cell.
He grabbed my collar and yanked me up to his height.
He held onto my clothes so I fell on to the cold concrete ground, naked.
I trembled and coward into the corner.

I closed my eyes tight as his dirty hands touched my skin.All Rights Reserved
