His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. Mel Snider is the girl everyone stares at as she walks down the hall. With Mel continuously bumping into Devon (as well as finding reasons to go see him), she begins to let him into her life. But letting him into her life means making the time to be with him. After always placing drumming at the top of her list, she wonders if she should continue to focus solely on her drumming, or if it's worth it in the end to balance her time to be with someone special.
