I slit my wrists, over and over again until I was numb. I laid on my bathroom floor, Nirvana flooding my ears. I’ve been stuck in a whirlpool for the last 4 years, and now I’m finally letting go. Tears stream down my face. I just want to leave. I want to be free. Let me be free.
I feel someone lift me gently onto a firm board. I hear people talking, but I can’t understand anything anyone is saying. I feel a cool breeze hit my legs. Through my closed eyes, I can see bright lights. Maybe I am free
