Me and Rose sat there on the side of the street, waiting for someone to come back for us, but no one came. we waited for our adoptive parents to come back. they said they would be back in a few minute but it turned into hours. we don't remember anything before we were put up for adoption. we don't remember who our parents are.

"lilly, they are not coming back are they?" my twin sister, Rose, asked

i just shook my head and got up. we are only 15 and we have been though 8 adoptive families and not one of them wanted to keep us.

we had no where to go as we didn't know anything about our real relatives  and why we can do stuff that normally people cant do because We forgot!.. until we meet Percy.
