Ivan Luther is sure that he's slowly dying because of the tumor in his head. Lillian Black is an orphan, paralyzed from the waist down. Neither one of them has anything to look forward to in life until they meet each other. When shy, awkward Ivan and fiery, red-headed Lillian meet for the first time, fate suddenly plays a part in the direction that their lives are set to go on. Now, having something to look forward to in his life, Ivan is truly struck by the severity of his situation. He's dying and he needs something to save him, so he doesn't have to leave Lillian alone. Has fate destained them to be together forever? Or only long enough to know true love?
