I thought that something like this could never happen to her. It still seemed unreal. Surely she wasn't gone for good. Not her, not Grace. But that was how it was. Grace had died. The only person that I loved in my life was dead, I would never see her again. She had preached her love for something that couldn't even save her in the end. She was wrong about everything and she died believing a lie. It was too cruel, too inconceivable. And my life changed forever the day she slipped through my fingers.
