I call them Riders. I don't see them much where I live. They are usually in big cities like New York, or Baltimore. They are kids, and teens. The youngest I've ever seen is ten. They cause trouble. Annoy old people. The works. They ride bikes and skate boards wherever they go. Mostly because it makes their hearts pump and their adrenaline goes wild. Sometimes they just need a fast get away. Sometimes they just need to escape from themselves. Most of my young life I thought they were stupid, and lazy. Useless and inexcusably tolerant of their own flaws and behaviors. I was young then. Inexperienced. Normal. If we didn't have them, we'd have nothing. They protect us. They protect you. This is the story of how The Riders saved the world. This is how I became one. This story is for anyone with a thirst for adventure. For anyone who feels like they can never have one. Make an adventure for yourself. ~A Fellow Rider
