Destiny, Miracle, Ebony, America, and Hope are all connected. Not by blood, and not by relatives. But by something so much stronger.

Destiny, a girl who finds a strange liking to ice cream falls into a coma, and has weird visions of the world ending.

Miracle, a girl who goes to babysit little Johnny for extra money, and is almost killed by him.

He is possesed by a creature so strong, that only one person can drive it out of the child. A Healer, Miracle.

Hope, a girl given away to pay her fathers debt to a testing facility. They eject a medicine in her, that makes her have supernatural abilities. Once she escapes, she finds a family, and goes to normal school, but when aliens come down to destroy earth, she tries to stop them, but fails. And it is the end of the world.

Ebony, a sport enthusiast living in the house hold of geniuses. She will never compare to any of them, brain wise. But soon, she realizes that she has super speed. No wonder she loves to run.

America, a girl who can control the vines. She was named as a freak, an outcast. She had to be home schooled because of her abilities. She has a brother and a mother who hate her.

These girls come together, and create something even stronger. After Destiny wakes up from her coma, she thinks she is the only one left in the world. But she isnt.

Miracle thinks, that her life is over, and fears that the dangerous possesion will come back for them.

Ebony outruns the invasion, but is almost burned out by how long and how far she had to run.

America, who is starving in the middle of nowhere.

And Hope, she just feels like its all her fault that this even happened.

But they will set aside all their problems, and stand together, as Leftovers.
