The house lights slowly dim. She stands deceptively still. Closing her eyes she runs through the routine one final time in her mind. As her eyes open the soft murmuring of the audience fades and the orchestra awakens the opening song with tenderness and hopeful anticipation. Pressing the tip of first the left toe shoe and then the right into the rosin box she bows her head for one more precious moment with God, seeking blessing for all the performers this evening. She takes him back home and meets Dean (who is very shocked to see this random lady with his tortured brother) She meets Cass and they know each other. A bunch of stuff happens, and she's got some dark secrets. Her and Sam's relationship blossoms into a fluffy ball of adorable that made me happy to write. (The overall theme fits the song Windows by Angel Oleson really well and I'd recommend you listen to it. Also, yes I know at some parts it's really cringey but I was a baby writer for the first parts of the book. It gets better and I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna try to go back and edit it but I'm really busy recently.)Concluida
