Nine years ago, directly outside of the gates of Konohagakure, a young girl was found. She was estimated to be one year old. Her hair was blazing red and her eyes emerald green. No one would have ever guessed there was a baby outside of Konoha because she didn't cry, she didn't whine, and she didn't make a noise so you may ask how did they find the girl? Well that's easy... Gai tripped on her.

Love in the Shadow
He was changing. Naruto's personality had been in a downward spiral since his mission to the Land of Waves. It was subtle at first, but now Minato doesn't even recognize his son after seven years. Hell, he barely even sees his son. After he transferred to the ANBU, Naruto rarely ever came home, and even when he did, he was cold, distant, and angry. When Minato learns that Naruto was the sole perpetrator of an attempted fratricide incident during a crucial mission in Iwa, he is forced to confront the issue. But at this point, Minato is certain that his son might be too far gone to be saved.

It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. He trudges through the pounding in his head and forces himself to move-- to go and find him, because that masked man was still out there, and Minato is willing to do anything to protect his little ball of sunshine.
