Life's about as normal as it can get for Yardena (Denny) Abadi, she gets average grades, has a great relationship with her older brother, she has a promising future as a boxer and a great group of friends- all up everything is as it seems, until her mum walks out on the family and to top it all off her father decides to uproot whats left of their family to move to the Eastern Beaches of Sydney, Australia (AKA Bondi Beach). Yeah that's right, the place they call Flip Flops, Thongs and they wear a uniform every day. Follow Denny as she embarks upon her journey of self discovery in a country where the only familiar thing is the sport shes been a part of since she could walk- Boxing. This is Denny's story and shes Fighting Free.

Daleela will face it all; a journey full of love, mistakes, discrimination, and maybe a few unplanned adventures. Although she's always been a true fighter, how will she handle everything that is happening without losing sight of what's truly important to her? Will she be able to juggle keeping up with her family and protecting her modesty while still maintaining a firm grip on her faith? What will happen when one girl has to fight for the respect of so many and prove herself to everyone looking down on her?
