I assume. You assume. Everyone assumes. Because, when a girl arrives at your boarding school in a hideous beat up Ford, she must be poor. If she's not clothed from head to toe in designer, her parents must be having financial problems. If she can actually answer the teacher's question without hesitation, she MUST be a scholarship student. To assume, is natural. It's a human flaw. A flaw, Arianna DiMartino especially hates. Even if, sometimes, she makes the same mistake. However, here at her new school Darlington Academy, she uses people's stereo-typical view as an advantage. So when they tag her as something she's most definitely not, she plays along. But how long can she keep up the facade? How long can she keep lying? Especially, when her acting skills are laughable at best? Credits for the cover to the awesome @Seething_Glance :) so be sure to check her out :)

He smirks, "You've finally cracked." I furrow my eyebrows, "You were baiting me? Jerk, just turn off your music!" "Or what?" He asks teasingly. "Or..or I'll tell the front office!" He shrugs, "Go ahead, you're the only one complaining." I glare at him, "Ooh you are so!" He looks at me amusingly, "So what?" "So!" He brings his face closer to mine, "Say what you want to say." His voice was low as he stared into my eyes. I was suddenly mute, completely drawn into those warm brown eyes. I don't know why I did, but I leaned into him. Our lips finally colliding. His arms pull my body closer to his as he kisses me hungrily. - It all started with a stupid dare. 21-year old transfer student Amina Bassey always had a plan. She knew from the age of 10 what college she was going to go to and how she was going to get there. She's always had perfect grades and fulfilled all of her parents expectations of her. But all that changed the second she met Dominic Taylor, the most insufferable, impatient, and rudest man she had ever met. She hates him with all her guts, but at the same time can't get enough of him after a game of truth or dare leads the pair into a complicated relationship. How long can they last before things begin to fall apart? (16 + themes of abuse, sexual content, language) est.
