David Mason, a 17 year old rookie navy seal is sent to Iraq on a mission to take out terrorist group threatening U.S citizens. Mason had been in a chopper when they were shot down by enemy soldiers. When they crashed the enemies closed in to make sure the crash had killed all the men inside. David was saved by a K-9 unit they had been near by. He had formed a friend ship with the dog who had dragged him out of the chopper and saved his life.
