Fanfiction for the book "Austenland" written by Shannon Hale
And of the film "Austenland" (2013) directed by Jerusha Hess

An almost parody of Pride and Prejudice

Read as new characters are introduced to the wonderful land of Jane Austen role playing! In "Austenland" where adults pay to visit a remake of Pemberley called Pembrook Park and are surrounded by actors in a real regency immersion and even scripted romance as the ultimate vacation.

Jessamym Audri is less excited for the trip. Role playing? ugh. But she might even begin to like it more than her Jane Austen fanatic best friend Elizabeth (Ella) Civil.

For those who have read/watched "Austenland" before:
The characters such as Henry Nobley, Amelia Heartwright, Elizabeth Charming, Colonel Andrews, Captain George East, Misses and Mister Wattlesbrook, and even Martin return for this lovely remastered version of the beloved romantic comedy with even more hidden Jane Austen surprises in the new storyline full of sassy chemistry, unexpected turns, and much more!

for those who have not read/watched "Austenland":
GO WATCH/READ IT!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!

The Lady in Disguise by AbbyWheelerRomance

At a house party, a case of mistaken identity goes too far, compelling a lady's maid to play the part of a lady, risking her livelihood... and her heart! Emilia has always endeavored to be a humble and dutiful lady's maid, but the former seems beyond her and the latter... Well, there is only so much that can be asked! As a student of fashion, Emilia's goals weren't lofty. All she wished for was a charge who allowed her to make her mark in some small way, whether with hair, accessories, or a well-draped gown. Unfortunately, Prudence Crewe is the most unapologetically unfashionable bluestocking society has ever known. As if that weren't bad enough, now Pru expects her to take her place and her very identity at a house party! Emilia must navigate this mad charade while playing the part of Miss Prudence Crewe, putting off fortune hunters, thwarting a saboteur, trying not to enjoy living a life she only dreamed of, or even worse, falling in love. ********** Daniel Byrne, confident, rich and ruthless, may be a fatherless, Irish mongrel in the eyes of the Beau Monde, but he knows his worth and it can be measured in bank notes. For years he's thrown the kind of parties the younger men of The Ton couldn't resist. Now for The Ton to accept him or, at the very least, find him impossible to ignore, he only has only to make a good match. "Prudence Crewe" does not suit his needs at all. She's not high-born enough to raise his profile, poor enough to need his money, nor scandalous enough to make him interesting. Yet he can't dismiss her knowing glances, plain-spoken observations, and when circumstances throw them together, he doesn't wish to dismiss her at all... Book Two of The Crewe Legacy. Book One is The Lady Pursues. You don't necessarily need to read it in order to understand this one, but I recommend doing so as it will greatly enhance your enjoyment of the characters, meeting them there first.

"I want how it was before. I want it all with you in my life again... I'm asking you to stay." Miles Cobain-Smith An aloof and detached logician, he scrutinizes the simplest things through microscopic lenses. Academic validation, family expectations, and unwavering care for the few people close to him sum up his life, and he certainly doesn't have time for love... yet. Juliet Everly A hopeless romantic, she sees the world through rose-colored glasses. According to her, love is magical and the purest thing one can ever encounter. Her world revolves around her dad and friends, and she's very content in her small-town life. She finds solace in romance books, nature, music, and her quiet attachment to bygone eras and everything vintage. Their paths cross. Clashing is inevitable, but there's something more... underneath the teasing remarks, stupid jokes, and laughter, an undercurrent too perplexing to decipher. When ignoring the spark becomes too much, their lives take a whole different turn. Hopes get crushed, dreams get shattered, and hearts get broken as the unexpected hits like a whirlwind. Gentle walks in the rain, soothing ocean breezes, hushed revelations, and an idyllic small town as a tranquil backdrop - how long until the picture-perfect expectations crumble into a mess of feelings too hard to hold back? All we can say is, it will be something unforgettable. Featured on @romance @storiesundiscovered @YA
