Running. That's all I know how to do. Run faster. I heard the crunch of leaves behind me and began to panic. Oh no. Faster. Faster. Swoosh. I tripped and fell. I started crawling away, hoping to escape this monster.

Crawling on my hands and knees, I heard him approach. Fear flooded my body. I turned over to find.. Nothing? Nothing but darkness. Where had he gone? I stood up shakily and looked around. But still nothing. Relief began to wash trough. But then I was sent flying in the air to a tree. A blood curdling scream left my mouth as he crouched and prepared to lunge for my throat.
