Lucid Dreaming- a dream state in which one is conscious enough to recognize that one is in the dream state and which stays in one's memory (According to dictionary.com) 

Scarlet Savage. Otherwise known as Scar, by her family, and Freak, to everyone else. Scar is going crazy, she mentality slipping away as each day of her life passes by. Voices crowd her mind, one urging her to go on, the other telling her it's useless. Her life is a hell hole, good grades and a unique sense of humor don't get her far. She is bullied, beaten down to the floor, every single day. harassed for her choices, for not being perfect. Scar also has an escape. Her dream worlds, which she can manipulate and control to fit her own image. Her dream worlds are a second reality to her, but dreams are still dreams, and everyone has to wake up.

Ashlynn struggles to keep up with her life. She can't seem to figure out who she is or what she wants because she's grappling with another persona. If she wants to move on with her life, she will need to determine why she's having these recollections and what she can do to stop them. She can't be two people forever- Can she?

Add to that the fact that he is her roommates' childhood best friend and you can see drama from miles away. Noah claims to hate her ever since they met, and he doesn't mean her first day of college. He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business. At least it's what he tells himself, until the feelings start getting too mixed and he ends up thinking of her more than he should. Maybe it's not all about business after all. He knows their history started before she even knows, what he didn't expect was for her to be so different from what he has always believed.
