At age fifteen, all creatures of the supernatural world are considered adults. There's a difference, between the girls and the guys, though. I don't know what happens to the guys exactly, but several things happen on the eve of a girls fifteenth birthday: their one power is unlocked, they are given a single strip of paper with their soulmates name and supernatural race on it, and one week to prepare to see them.
