It's been seven years but Hunter has yet to let her go... That is, until he meets Elizabeth. Elizabeth is beautiful, smart, and most important, she understands Hunter. Suddenly love makes sense. The future seems hopeful. For the first time, Hunter feels ready to leave the past where it belongs. Not mine! I just changed the names and left out a few details. Steven Herrick wrote the original. "Hunter Blackwood never thought much about death until it took something from him-something that made home feel empty, even before he left. Now, in a new country, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, he's haunted by what he can't forget. Moving to The United Kingdom was supposed to be a fresh start, yet all he feels is emptiness-until he meets her. A girl with golden-brown eyes and a teasing smile, someone who makes him forget, just for a moment, the weight he's been carrying. She speaks in riddles and knows things she shouldn't, and yet, she's the only one who makes him feel alive again. But as their connection grows, Hunter wonders if she's a figment of his imagination, a manifestation of his grief-or something.
