"It's time for a change", was the words my best friend said and it was those five words which changed my life forever.

I turned slowly, nervous to see the new me. 

This was it. 

My heart felt like it was in my ass by now. I cannot believe I allowed Kim to drag me into her outrageous makeover plan.

When I finally faced the mirror, I did not recognize the girl staring back at me. Tears prickled my eyes in regret.

Regret that I hadn't made a change sooner.
