Ever wanted to "dive" into one of your favorite games? Well with the new nervegears that have reached all over the world now you are able to. Ever since the SAO incident though, problems with the nervegear have arisen more. People were getting stuck in their games unable to port out. What's worse is that some games online never had an objective to beat so they could win. Unfortunately for me I was one of those people. I'm just glad I'm not stuck alone. But sometimes I wish I was.

Kirito and I collapse out of breath, the sign above us screams 'Winner' as he defeated the boss of floor 11. "We did it." I say in between breaths. "Yeah.. well done." Kirito replies as he sat up. I sit up soon after, looking in my peripheral to see the countdown for when the Beta ends. "Just in time too, can't wait to brag about this during the full release!" I say enthusiastically. Have you ever imagined after a Thursday night with your friends or even your family, waking up in a dark room with five other strangers? Or even seeing that movie "Escape Room" and have a dream where you have to try and survive crazy obstacles that are trying to kill you? You didn't? Oh, you got lucky, because after a normal Thursday night, I woke up in a room with six strangers and was forced to play a sick game. Sure games are fun and enjoyable, a little competition here and there and friendly competition of course, where no one gets hurt. Well the game we played was anything but friendly, at least we were friendly to each other. Or that's what I thought, before one of them stabbed me, and betrayed me and the others. I guess one of us was pretending and lying, being an imposter among us. To know who did it and what happened to all of us you can read our story. I hope you enjoy it, like one of us did. The Lifehold was safe and secure in NLA. The Ganglion hierarchy was crippled, leaving the former regime in shambles. And for once in their time since they crashed on Mira, humanity finally feels at peace. But the work was not yet over. Not for BLADE. And certainly not for Cross. Called into Blade Tower by Nagi personally, Cross is officially ranking up and becoming the leader of his own team, one of Blades first ever multi-division units. Now the leader of the currently empty Team Cross, he has a team to form, and he has no clue where to even start. ... I wanted to write this because of the recent WiiU online server shutdown. There are lots of games that got hit hard by this, and one of them is one of my all time favourite games, Xenoblade Chronicles X. The only Xenoblade game with online functionality. I remember being a little 9 or 10 year old kid running home after school as fast as I can so I can plop down and play on my Wii U, and 9 times out of ten, it was for Xenoblade X. I had no clue what I was doing, but the game instantly hooked me when I saw the giant robot on the front cover. I had so much fun with the game back in 2015-2019, when my Wii U broke, and I still remember how upset I was when it wouldn't turn on no matter how much I tried. Eventually, just a few months ago, I got Cemu working in my computer, and the first thing I did was get Xenoblade X on there, and when I started the game again, it was like I was a little 9 year old kid again. The game is so special to me, and I was so saddened when I learned the servers shut down. So, I want to make a little something for the game. Just to show how much I love the game and its characters, and how much I want to see it one day continue on a new console. So, to any other Xenoblade X fans out there, I hope you enjoy this, and if you don't know anything about the game, I truly recommend looking into it, it's such an awesome experience for any JRPG enjoyer.

In the distant future of 20XX, a specialized headgear called the "Nerve Gear" is released to the public, designed to immerse the user in hundreds of Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (VRMMORPG) using their five senses. One in particular stood out from its peers, an upcoming game called "Sword Art Online" that attracted the attention of millions; yet, only 10,000 copies have been sold. What looks to be a wonderful world spawned from the genius mind of Kayaba Akihiko, the creator of the Nerve Gear, however soon turns out to be an elaborate ruse since on the first day of public access, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. In the year 2022, a man invented something ground breaking, a device called NerveGear, that allows people to fully dive into a video game. This man, is Akihiko Kayaba, a man who secretly has a twisted mind. Sword Art Online is the most anticipated VRMMORPG game that was created for the NerveGear. One month before the full release of the game, 10 000 people were given the closed beta to Sword Art Online. One of these people were Y/n L/n, a player that would reach the highest floor out of all the other beta testers. Broken. I'd say that's a good way to describe me. Even as the world fell to pieces, I still desperately tried to collect mine, hoping that maybe I could put myself back together. But when the world turned evil and dark, and insanity fell upon the innocent, I had no choice but to build a new Beth. A new girl. That way, no matter how many people I was forced to kill, I wouldn't shatter. Excerpt: The mistakes of your past will affect your future.
