But who to say it to? To decide Caitlyn makes a guest list of all the people who would attend her funeral. She's afraid the list is going to be sad and short, just like her life.

They call me Jordan Dunn, but some days, I don't even recognize my own name. Being sixteen should be all about getting through high school, making friends, maybe even figuring out who you are. For me, it's about navigating a life without pain, a life where death is just a joke-literally.

I was close to dying if not from my sister. I went from bitches at school to my alcoholic, addict abusing mother. Then my best friend decided he wanted stop be part of the crew that cries for me to give me another reason to live. I didn't want another one but...it feels nice. Warning: This is rated MATURE for a reason. Mentions of cutting, abuse, alcoholism, bullying, gayness, and Gacha pictures because they help me visualize my characters better. If any of these things make you uncomfortable, get the hell away from my story, no one said you had to sit here and read this. I am not a professional writer but I did try with what my pain and emotions gave me. The entirety of the story is explained over time so if you want to sit and read, be my guest. Our protagonist is Ryan and let's just say he's gonna go through hell and back.

Life is not easy, nor is it simple. There are always obstacles you need to get over and things preventing you from being happy. Charlotte is a 17 year old girl who understands that. She is struggling to get over the obstacles and doesn't know if she'll make it. ..... Warning: This story contains description of self-harm in almost every chapter. I didn't include a warning at the beginning of every chapter because this whole story is about mental health so anything may cause triggers. SIDE NOTE: This short story is currently undergoing MAJOR editing! The earlier chapters might not be consistent with the later chapters but the plot remains the same! A boy committed suicide, but before his soul moves on, he is given a chance to see what he left behind. A girl longing for true love waits for him, seeing her causes him to want to stay. Living by her side as a ghost for a few months helped her feel his love and longing until one fateful day she meets him. (For anyone who feels like there is no reason to hold on anymore, just know that there is always a reason to continue holding on).

"If you could kill yourself right now, would you?" I asked. He shook his head. "No," he said, "because suicide means that you've given up on yourself. And I'm not gonna do that." Isobel cut herself once, just see if it would take the pain away. When her best friend dies, her whole world comes crashing down. While reaching for a razor, she searches for her reason to live. Upon making a new friend, she learns the true value and meaning of what it means to truly be alive.
