I wrote this for IronicApocalypse, who ships Davekat hard. Like, this is her top-tier ship, resting above all her secondary otp’s. Top-tier like the uppermost section of the food pyramid, which is all tiny as you’re supposed to eat sparingly from it because the foods on top are so rich. But of course all the oils and fats are the best, so you eat loads and loads of them and end up being a little obtuse yourself. Anyway, IronicApocalypse, this is for you!

I made this book when I was 14 so the first chapters up until around 50+ are kinda bad. I thought I'd leave it up because some people may want to still read but if your interested in my own style now read the latest ones as it represents adult me who knows how to write hopefully better. I enjoy writing and I put alot of time into them when I was younger so I thought for the time and effort I'd leave them up! I suffer with dyslexia which I've grown accustomed to but I was struggling in my younger years so again the first chapters of this book aren't the best (they make me cringe) Ryan and Alex are the ship I stayed with later on into the book, but whilst I began writing Alex wasn't yet in TDG so there some different ships. Bailey, Tyler, Johnny. I tend to write bxb as that's what I tend to read. Warnings ⚠ In this book I cover a fair few dark themes as that's what draw me in as a reader. Also people who have a emetophobia (why I started this book, to try normalise myself to it in a weird way) this book contains it alot very early on in the first few chapters then it slowly transforms into a dark book. Mentions of: self harm, suicide, eating disorders, rape, drugs, drugging of others, grooming, violence, bullying. (Anything that may fall under dark themed I've probably written about)

Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) Okay so, this is a first and COMPLETELY ORIGINAL fanfic idea and I think NO ONE as ever done it. So um, it's a Gream/Dreamnotfound fanfic in a Conversion Camp. Those places don't work they just really bad places. I fully do not know how they actually work so I'm just going to assume and use my knowledge of them from family guy. And like remember it's a fanFICTION it does not have to be accurate.
