In the depths of the forest lived a she-cat. Her name was Cheetahtail. Her father was killed by Scrouge. Ever since that happened she encouraged herself to work harder as a warrior. Cheetahtail has fought in many battles, but there is a battle too great for her to survive. A new apprentice has joined Thunderclan. Her personality is too awful to bare. And Cheetahtail has no patience for that kind of attitude. The apprentice doesn't like Cheetahtail either. And when Firestar assign her to Cheetahtail she knows this wasn't going to go well. AT ALL.

Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. Fernkit is born into Thunderclan. Her parents are Stormcloud and Ivypool, and her siblings are Oakkit, Cloverkit and Timberkit. Then, the day comes when she and her siblings become apprentices. They were on their way to become warriors at last! Thunderclan has many strong warriors, and peace has ruled the territories around the lake for almost three years now. Fernpaw's mentor is Ambermoon, but the ginger she-cat has been acting strangely, and always avoided Fernpaw when she was a kit. After half a moon, the grey she-cat has had enough of her mentor's strange acts, and asks her why she behaves like that. Ambermoon then reveals the truth, and Fernpaw wished that she had never asked her mentor about it. But her dreams have been troubled and dark, and the same prophecy keeps repeating itself. "Darkness will enfold the forest. Blood will bring death, and death will bring the end." But Ambermoon hides a dark secret, and soon Fernpaw will become a part of it.Complete
