13 year old Ellie had her Father recently loose his job and Ellie's mother is a stay-at-home mom. They are striving to keep the rent on their apartment. Ellie wants to earn money for her family by entering an art competition. After she looks into entering her artwork, she hears that she has to go on a vacation in California to visit her Grandparents. On one hand, she could go to California and miss the opportunity of a lifetime, or go to the art competition to save her family. The decision is tough, but Ellie is stronger.
