(Sequel to Beneath the Fountain)

With Margarethe gone and plans to marry William, it should be happily ever after for Sage now, right?

Wrong.

Although many of the secrets that shrouded her life have been uncovered, it still seems the everyone is keeping secrets from Sage. All she wants is to know the truth about who she is, no matter how big of a strain it puts on her relationships. After Margarethe lied to her for years and made her wary of everyone, Sage doesn't know who to trust, not even William, who seems to be keeping more than one secret from her.

When an entity from the past comes and sweeps her away, Sage discovers the truth about herself and everyone, but by then, it's too late, and she realizes that Helena was always right: sometimes the less you know, the better.

And Sage now knows one thing for sure: she'll never be safe again.

||WATTY 2021 SHORTLIST|| Ex-Princess-Bride wants to marry her beloved Dragon, but when a curse threatens their happily ever after, they are left racing against time to break the spell before it breaks their hearts. *** Elvira, a princess who gave up her rights to the crown to go on adventures and do good, falls in love with a dragon knight Ferrante. Alas, copious amounts of lightning bolts threaten to keep Elvira and Ferrante apart forever, to protect the rights of her long-forgotten, dead-beat betrothed. Who knew that magic-sealed marriage contracts don't have an expiration date when the royals are involved? With romance on the line, Elvira immediately sets out in search of her betrothed to wed him, bed him and be done with him. It would have been simple, except her runaway prince had since become a highway robber and nobody knows where he might be hiding. Ferrante, infuriated with Elvira's quest to save their nuptials, takes on the ancient Arcane Guild to annul the contract. More brawn than brains, the fine print is not his forte, and the dangers of sparring with nimble minds are far greater than he had seen in his nightmares. Meanwhile, a sinister puppet-master also has designs on Elvira... So, the race to the altar is on! Age range I think is NA to adult, but it's smut-free. It's not about telling the truth...it's knowing which lies to tell Juliana Renée Clairborne has always known that she doesn't belong to the parents that she was raised by. She came to terms with that a long time ago. But sometimes, she can't help but wonder where she belongs or who she belongs to. What she doesn't know is, is that there are secrets and lies hidden inside the palace walls that she was raised in, and it won't be long before one by one, these secrets are revealed. The thing about secrets is, they're called "secrets" for a reason. Some were just meant to stay hidden. Raised by the King and Queen of Albion, it is Juliana's duty to marry Prince Aspen of Isola and rule beside him as King and Queen of their kingdom. Juliana knew that trying to fall in love with Aspen wasn't going to be a fairy tale. What she didn't expect...was a battlefield. The walls of the palace always seemed like a safe haven for Juliana, but now she starts to question everything she has ever been told. As she gets ready to face marriage, secrets, lies, fate, and betrayal, she comes to realize that maybe her head isn't quite big enough for a crown.
