Love and Other Mysteries of Life

Life has been unfair to 15 year old Shena, her mom left her and her father when Shena was only 5 for male model Axel, which made her father get to the point of drinking so much that he cant even distinguish right from wrong, even hitting his daughter doesn't show up in his list of moral wrongs. She is constantly bullied for the amount of makeup she wears to cover the bruises put there by her father. Not only that but her horrible life gets even worse her salty ex, Ethan, splashes water on her as a practical joke and shows her secret to the world.
Shena is suddenly thrown into the world of the hopelessly abandoned "Miss Mary's Children's Home for The Abused and Abandoned", where she meets Keely, a girl who shares everything in common with Shena, and bad boy Virgel, who Shena despises from the first cheesy pickup line he uters. As she is more determined than ever to find her mom, she and Keely decide to live spontaneously to go on the adventure of a life time with Miss Mary's hot pink car, and Virgel at the wheel. Shena expected to find her mom, not love, but she guesses life just had other plans.
This is the story of the start of a so bad but so good for you love, a new friend to lead the way, and a whole new out look on life for Shena as she discovers she loves the way life is for her.
