Standing in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night, drenched from a slight shower from above, seemed like the best option I had left. With only a flickering street light casting light a metre ahead of me, you would probably think I was crazy. But I wasn't always, I used to be a normal girl, with a future I thought I chose and a life I thought I controlled. But this isn't where the story begins, let me take you back a week and you can see how normal I was. My name is Olivia, I'm 18 years old and I just started my first year at college. I have a younger brother and sister, twins, who are 14 years old and in high school. My parents are 48 and 46 and are highly regarded lawyers. Which means they go on a lot of business trips, leaving me to look after my siblings. Which isn't bad, they're not hard to look after as they're in high school. I have a part time job as a Bartender to help pay for college, my parents thought it would teach me responsibility, as if looking after two teenagers wasn't enough responsibility to begin with. You see, bartending isn't a hard job, but it's not exactly all happy go lucky or rainbows and lollipops either. Sometimes it's really exhausting, you have to deal with rude customers and do the jobs no one else wants to do. That's where this story begins, at work. That's where I met him.....Hunter. I was bent over, on my knees......picking up crap that the previous group of customers had left for me, when he walked up behind me. It wasn't exactly great, or amazing. Though as I soon came to realise, it wasn't the mess Hunter thought was amazing. It was my ass.
