Jakub Manson was no more than your average sixteen year old trying to find his place in the big talking small town of Wolf Falls. Until boxing day twenty thirteen he was sentenced to life in prison, accused of being what the media call The Shadow Hunter. With the body count at two the killings stop when Jakub is put inside the big house and the case is officially closed.
But one year later when a letter is sent to the local P.D claiming to be the Shadow Hunter, Jakub is released with new evidence clearing him of all suspected charges. However Jakub wasn't as safe as he thought. Hours after his release Jakub mysteriously disappears and the next day a fresh kill is handed to Wolf Falls P.D.
Now the stakes have never been higher. With his family and friends wanting answers and local P.D wanting justice the race is on to find Jakub before the body count rises. Friendships will be destroyed and familes torn apart as secrets become the truth and lies are unraveled. And the last person you thought you could trust ends up being the one you turn to for everything.

a cold summer
It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University. Now that summer has finally arrived, she can look forward to a long anticipated break and spend time with her friends enjoying one of their favourite pastimes - swimming in the Loch!
