I'm in love with a guy who doesn't know my name. I pass him with faked indifference as if he is just another stranger. But he isn't a stranger, not to me. I know his name, his favorite song, what jokes make him laugh, but he knows nothing about me. I am a stranger to him. It might seem crazy to fall in love with someone who is ignorant to my existence but then again it isn't. I fell in love with his soul his essence because it is one I know very well. I knew him and he knew me. I loved him and he loved me. I thought this was a gift our second chance but the reality is cruel because I know him but he doesn't know me. This is the story of a journey that began with two souls and ended with one.

Hi readers! This is a short story which was inspired by my own experiences. It's been two years since I left my love and up until now, I'm still struggling to get over him. I had to let go of his hand not because I wanted to but because I had to make a sacrifice for someone else's sake and happiness. He was my greatest 'what if' and I was his greatest regret. Although most of the scenes happened in real life, the rest are pure imagination especially the intense and happy part. We may have just been a "once upon a time" in real life but in this story, I made what should've been our 'happily ever after'. Fate Will Have It
I wanted to tell him that I knew his favorite book, and his coffee order, and the way he clicked his pen when he was deep in thought. I wanted to tell him I knew that he sleeps on the right side of the bed and eats on the left side of the table. I wanted to tell him that I knew his worries, dreams and fears. I wanted to tell him that I knew he loved me too. I wanted to see his laugh, and know that I was the reason. I wanted to make him smile, just to see those dimples that lay heavenly on his face. I wanted his eyes to light up in joy- I wanted to see him happy. I wanted to tell him that I prided myself in the fact that I had memorized all the freckles on his skin, how his freckles birthmarks created their own galaxies of planets and stars. I wanted to tell him I would be there for him, on the bad days too. I wanted to tell him he could call be at 3:46 in the morning and just complain, I'd completely understand. I wanted to tell him that he had completely beguiled me; that he was my entire world. I wanted to tell him that I love him more than anything I had ever known. I wanted to run to him, to hug him. I wanted him to wrap his arms around me and never let me go. I wanted to never leave him. I wanted to rule by his side, as his Luna. "Who are you?" I asked him but instead of answering my question he suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me for a run. I don't know where he will bring me but to my surprised, I let him. We run away from something I don't know. I just know that there is something that was pulling me through a deep unknown darkness. But he was there and now we are running away. I don't know who he is yet I trusted him with all my life. For that instant, I knew my heart belongs to him. *** *** "I didn't mean to love you yet I love you so much I cannot hold you so tight." I said those words and I couldn't stop myself not to feel the bitterness of the truth we are going to face. But still I hold her hand even though I know that it isn't right. We run and I save her. Yet, I don't know it was the beginning and I don't want to find out the ending. Still, the end is near and I cannot hold her even though my heart already belongs to her.
