This is a short piece of pure fluffy sweetness. I began writing it at a time when life was complicated and wearying and I needed an escape. It's based on one of my favourite film couples, but again, I've deliberately chosen not to give any names. So feel free to imagine whomever you want. The story is nothing complex, just an exploration of two people in a committed relationship with a language and rituals of their own, being at home with each other. Joy and laughter, fun and ease. A final note: This story has sex scenes. If you are below the age of eighteen or if that is not your cup of tea, please don't read it. I could attempt to take the scenes out, but that would ruin the structure and flavour of the story. "In my 19 years of life I never really experienced anything worth telling a story about. Usually when something exciting happened to me, which was rare, I'd sum up the key parts and move on. But then I died, and I finally had a story worth talking about. Anyway, how I died isn't too exciting. Just a basic car accident. You know, icy roads, snow coming down hard, a car slides into your lane and then boom. You're standing in the street watching some guy trying to shake you alive and all you can think is, "Damn, I'm dead." It's funny how feelings change over time. I tried to stay calm, I had to for the sake of all those poor girls, but they let out a blood-curdling scream, and that was my last straw. I wasn't going to let anything happen to the person I had slowly fallen in love with... I can't... cause if I do, I'm no better than my mother. **** Alexandra Slick, or more famously known as Ajax, is one helluva mafiosa. Her mother, the head of an all-female mafia, is a woman who takes other girls and women in need under her wing, to give them a home, and a better life- The same way she gave to Andra. Or is that all just a facade? Andra's stuck between a moral dilemma between sticking to her family, even if they weren't connected by blood, but still... Who is telling the truth? The facts, or the stories that she grew up with? Then... then came in Marcus Dane- the man who changed it all. For good or for worse? We'll find out.
