"You're disgusting." Her sharp, bitter words practically sliced through his weakened heart so effortlessly. Her mind was racing at seemingly a thousand miles an hour while she looked him dead in the eye, her lips pressed into one thin line while he just watched her with his mouth hung open in disbelief. 

"That's what I get, huh?" Her voice sounded weakened, her fragile body beginning to tremble. He didn't even have time to mutter a simple protest because she was already gone, fleeing out of his house as if it were on fire behind her.

And the very next day, he was gone too, no goodbye or any explanations. Just an unopened voicemail and three hundred miles between them

Just like that, their lives together were just a mere memory, nothing more and nothing less. Forever.

But is forever really eternal?
