"You're disgusting." Her sharp, bitter words practically sliced through his weakened heart so effortlessly. Her mind was racing at seemingly a thousand miles an hour while she looked him dead in the eye, her lips pressed into one thin line while he just watched her with his mouth hung open in disbelief.
"That's what I get, huh?" Her voice sounded weakened, her fragile body beginning to tremble. He didn't even have time to mutter a simple protest because she was already gone, fleeing out of his house as if it were on fire behind her.
And the very next day, he was gone too, no goodbye or any explanations. Just an unopened voicemail and three hundred miles between them

But is forever really eternal?
Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. A fire that burned into my core.
