Hi, I'm Mia. I have lived in a foster home ever since I was 2 years old. My best friend (Chris Collins) is a year older than me making him 15, he is lucky, he has a family which loves him and he has a twin, Crawford... Crawford has a school reputation for being a bad boy, a bad boy which all the girls are head over heels for. Spending most of my time at Chris's house I have started to look at his family as my family and I am very grateful that they think of me in the same way, well everyone other than Crawford.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.

I stepped forward and asked, "Where do you want me?" It took me a second to realize what I just said. Shit! I placed a hand on my crimson face and muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter! You know what I meant." He laughed, his voice sounded hoarse and deep even when he's laughing. I peeked at him from the gap I made between my fingers. He was close. So close. He grabbed my hand and took me to the bed. Damn! It did sound sexy. His shirt was loose. Too large for me, and it hung on me like a cloth hung on a hanger. He sat on the bed, criss crossed and pulled me to him. ♡♡♡♡♡ The thing about love is... its unpredictable. Even when you don't want love, it just happens. Cassandra is your typical anti-social tomboy where Easton is your black leather jacket high school bad boy. Cassandra and her siblings arrive at Brinkley mansion hoping the year to get by quickly so they can be back with their dad. But then they meet Easton who has a different plan for them. Join these two teens in their journey to find what's right kind of love, or is there even a righteousness to love? ☆ Copyright 2020 @Books_and_nerds (DestinyK.)
