Desma the Desperate

Desma would do anything to swoon her soul mate, Giles. Well, anything except talk to him, ask him out or let her best friend help. She uses what she calls her “brain-hacking” super power to attract him, except she's the only one who thinks it actually works.

In her mind, some girls are born natural flirts and Desma isn't one of them. She has to rely on placing her own thoughts into a guy's mind to get anywhere. It helps that brain-hacking is useful for other things like getting her out of chores or being called on in class. So there's that.

But it's the last year of high school and sadly, brain-hacking never worked on Giles. Not once in six years. Desma will have to take her special skill to whole new levels. That's if she's going to get him to realize she's the only girl in the world for him before it's too late.
