The Day Love Died {ONE SHOT}

I sat around the fire. I was all wrapped up in my new blanket. My family slowly counted down from ten before 2013 began. The weird part was, I was still trying to get over 2012. The fire was warm on my pale skin this had been the most comfortable I had been since he died. The thought of him makes me cry. I excuse myself and quickly walk to the bathroom unable to hold back my tears any longer. The warm salty droplets slip down my face. My name is Kaylen Shay and this is my story.
